IN THE PRESS
“
In Onward, Dear Boys, Philippe Bieler brings more than an increasingly rare perspective to the events.

Philippe Bieler skilfully weaves together his own voice with those of his ancestors, into a story of war, immigration, and family life.
“
“
Philippe Bieler nous invite à le suivre sur les routes de l’histoire dans un récit mené tambour battant, au gré des événements qui ont marqué la fin du XIXe siècle et la première moitié du XXe.

BIO

Philippe Bieler, a descendant of Swiss woodsmen and the son of a senior civil servant at the League of Nations, was born in 1933. He graduated in engineering at McGill University in Canada, and obtained an MBA at IMD in Switzerland. He was to become CEO of a number of industrial corporations, but preferred his years as an entrepreneur, and the eventual retreat as an author, at the desk on his sheep farm in Wales.
